TRIBE Hike For Freedom Series: The Lake District Edition

TRIBE was inspired by a 1,000 mile run to set up the first home for trafficked children in the UK. Since 2017, the TRIBE Freedom Foundation, a registered charity, has raised more than £400,000 to fight modern slavery. Every time you buy a TRIBE product or attend a TRIBE event, you are supporting the vital work of the TRIBE Freedom Foundation.

In 2020 we want the TRIBE community to join us to Hike For Freedom in four of the most spectacular areas of the UK (Lake District, Snowdonia, Cornwall, Jurassic Coast). We will explore the Force of Nature, and cover 44km over 2 days as one crew. Fuelled along the way by 100% natural TRIBE bars!!

For our first 2020 Hike For Freedom we will be heading to the Lakes for an epic adventure. The pace will be social and we will stick together as a crew. After a stunning 28km hike on the Saturday, with a cosy pub lunch stop, we will be staying next to the beautiful Lake Windermere - perfect place to rest and fuel up ready for 16km on the Sunday.

This will be a weekend to remember, with an awesome crew!

This event will be raising funds for the TRIBE Freedom Foundation, a £15 donation will be included in the ticket price.

ITINERARY:

Saturday

06:05 - Train from London Euston -> Oxenholme Lake District

09:15 - 28km hike from Oxenholme -> Ambleside

12:00 - Mid-way lunch stop with drinks and TRIBE bars

17:00 - Finish at YHA Ambleside for drinks!

17:00 - 22:00 - Chill, Drinks & Dinner in Ambleside

Sunday

8.30am: Breakfast

9.30am: 16km hike

12.30pm: Lunch

2:00pm: Coaches to Oxenholme Station

3.23pm: Train from Oxenholme -> London (arriving 6.11pm)

Costs:

£75 (includes £15 donation to the TRIBE Freedom Foundation, Ambleside Hotel, Coach Transfer, Saturday Dinner, Sunday Breakfast & unlimited TRIBE bars). There is limited availability so please book ASAP so that you don't miss out!

Train (please note this is not included): ~£80 - please do book asap on Trainline as prices will only go up quickly!

Please ensure you bring ID to check in to the accommodation. Please note that we will be hiking with our kit for the whole weekend so pack lightly and make sure you have a comfortable backpack!
