TRIBE Ultra: Thames Path London to Windsor

In 2013, TRIBE Co-Founders Tom, Guy and Rob completed the first Run for Love – a 1,000 mile run across Europe, from Odessa to Dubrovnik, to set up the first home for trafficked children in the UK. This was the journey which inspired TRIBE.

This November, we're bringing the tribe together for the third instalment of the epic Run for Love trilogy. It is taking place in The Azores - the tropical islands and trail runners paradise located in the middle of the Atlantic! We will push the limits of human endurance and run 280km in 6 days to fight modern slavery.

Join us for an awesome social ultra run along the Thames, from London to Windsor. We will be clocking up 27 - 30 miles as a crew. Perfect training in the lead up to the race! This is open to anyone, whether you're signed up for Run For Love III or not.

The Plan:

Saturday August 10th

8.15am: Meet the TRIBE crew at Barnes Bridge station (just outside the station)

8.30am: Start the run as a crew, heading in the direction of Windsor!

11:00/11:30 Half-way stop in Kingston.

2.30pm: Arrive in Windsor, where we will head to a pub to refuel and recover before travelling back to London on the train.

This is a self-supported run so you will need to carry a small running pack with water, snacks for the run, and weather-appropriate kit! We will be passing through towns where you can fill up with water.

This will be a great training run - clocking up this number of miles as a crew is so much fun and so rewarding.

The pace will be approximately 10 min/mile. We will try and run as a pack. However we expect everyone will naturally be different speeds so we will re-group regularly if needed.
