TRIBE Tempo: Protein Fuelling Hope

Team TRIBE, we have a very special edition of our fortnightly Tempo run club taking place on 14th April. To celebrate the launch of our Protein Fuelling Hope campaign we’ll be meeting at the Co op store on Plaistow Road for a 5km run around Olympic Park, followed by the opportunity to try the banoffee bars and meet the amazing Halimot, who is the creator of the bars.

Halimot’s Story 

Halimot is an incredible woman, mum, baker and businesswomen. She is also a survivor of child trafficking and exploitation and the proud creator of TRIBE’s latest bar flavour. 

 “My Banoffee Protein Bar is more than just a snack; it’s a symbol of resilience, strength, and healing. It’s the story of how I turned pain into something beautiful and nourishing. Every bite is a reminder of how far I’ve come, and how far we can all go, even in the face of darkness.” - Halimot 

Not only is this bar delicious, but there is impact in every bite. 25% of profits from these bars go towards our partner charity Ella’s, supporting women like Halimot in their journey to Freedom. 

We’d love for you to join us at Plaistow Road  for this special edition of Tribe Tempo. 

Here are the key details… 

Meeting point: Co op, Plaistow Road, Plaistow, London, E13 0DY. 

Timings: We’ll kick off the run at 18:00 and head to Olympic Park for a 5km loop. We should finish up the run at around 18:40 with plenty of time to see the store and try the delicious banoffee bars! 

Tickets: A £2 donation to TRIBE Freedom Foundation, a community based charity on a mission to end modern slavery.

N.B: Unfortunately there will be no bag drop available for this run, so please only bring what you can run with.
